BOOKINGS:

Bookings will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. When you make your booking, please make sure that your email address and postal address are correct.  If you don’t hear from us to confirm your booking, please email us.


​Please also note - only bookings paid in full will have the opportunity to review available stall spaces with the market owners. This too is done on a first in bases.​


Santa Barbara Night Market LLC ​reserves​ the right to reject bookings, on the grounds that the type of business or craft stall being booked is unsuitable for the market or for any other reason given by ​the event organizers. to endors are required 


 STALL HIRE  LICENSE FEE INCLUDES:

​Allocated and demarcated space only. All vendors must organize their own stands and displays and this has to be done to the event organizers satisfaction. We will do the Christmas décor. 



CRAFT AND BUSINESS STALL OWNERS: 

Please only display or promote items reviewed and agreed upon by the event organizers.​ Business stalls are welcome to give out flyers/samples etc. from their stall, but may not walk around the venue giving out information. Food stallholders are responsible for complying with specific Food Hygiene requirements and must hold the relevant certificates and registrations required by a food business along with suitable public liability insurance.



UNSUITABLE ITEMS: 

​The event organizers will determine this and they reserve the right to preview all products to be sold.


PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE: 

All BUSINESS stallholders MUST forward a copy of their certificate of Public Liability Insurance to Santa Barbara Night Market LLC prior to the day of the event.


STALLHOLDER LICENSE REFUNDS: 

If a stallholder is unable to attend the event for which they have pre-booked, the stallholder fee is non-refundable. In the unlikely event that the stallholder is dissatisfied with attendance at an event, stall fees are non-refundable. In the event of a Santa Barbara Night Market being cancelled, stallholders will receive a 100% refund of stall fee paid.


SET-UP AND PACK-UP YOUR STALL Doors open to stallholders 1 hour prior to the start of the event. We suggest that you use this full hour for the preparation of your stall.


Stallholders should pack up only when the organizers declare the venue closed. Once the market has closed, stallholders must vacate the building within 1 hour. If you want to leave your stock, that is at your own risk. We recommend keeping the main structure, but removing all valuables.


Stallholders must remove all waste, litter and unsold items from the venue when leaving the event. 


Security and Santa Barbara Night Market will unlock and open the building 1-hour prior to the event and secure and lock 1 hour after the event.


VENUE RULES: 

We only use lovely venues, so please look after them. Stallholders will be financially responsible for any damages they cause to the market venue. It is NOT allowed to hang, tape, glue, nail, screw or in any other way affix items to any wall, door, floor, curtain or any other part of the building. If you have heavy items, that you cannot pick up by yourself, please request help from one of the Santa Barbara Night Market staff, who will be happy to help. This will prevent floors from being unnecessarily damaged.


NO MUSIC. Vendors are not permitted to play any music without the express authorization of the Event Organizer. 


NO SMOKING. No smoking is permitted on the premises. No Alcoholic Beverages: Vendors may not sell any alcoholic beverages. 


VENDOR CONDUCT:

We are looking to create a family-friendly environment, so you must comply with the following guidelines: 

● Fair, courteous, non-discriminatory, and professional staff

● Keep a well-maintained, safe, and clean space 

● Provide quality service and products 

● Any violation of the above expectations risks having your space revoked


FOOD VENDORS:

​EACH FOOD VENDOR IS REQUIRED TO HAVE THE APPROPRIATE FIRE EXTINGUISHER(S) WITH CURRENT REGISTRATION TAGS ON-SITE AT ALL TIMES. You must have a copy of your 1) FSE or TFSE and a 2) Food Protection Certificate on-site. All vendors need to have necessary Santa Barbara and California food, health and safety license. 


Hot cooking appliances must be guarded and kept out of reach from the general public. 


Food vendors are responsible for providing their own potable water as necessary and properly disposing of their own grease and wastewater. Improper disposal, such as on-site or into the City sewage systems, will result in Vendor’s immediate breach of the Vendor Agreement.


TRANSACTIONS:

​Santa Barbara Night Market LLC accepts​ no responsibility for any transaction entered into at the market venue.


REFUSAL OF ADMISSION:

​Santa Barbara Night Market LLC reserves​ the right to refuse admission to the market to any person without giving any reason for the same and to eject or cause to be ejected any person and/or his/her goods without giving any reason for the same.


SECURITY:

Stallholders are responsible for their own stall security and monies. No responsibility is taken by the organisers for theft, loss or damage to items. 

​Santa Barbara Night Market LLC accepts​ no liability for the theft, loss or damage of any personal items for sale from the stallholder’s stalls or other items within the boundaries of the event. All persons who enter the market area do so at their own risk.


HEALTH AND SAFETY:

​ Santa Barbara Night Market LLC is committed to providing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of Health, Safety and Welfare at each event. Under Health & Safety legislation, stallholders are responsible for the safety of their table/stall, i.e. setting items up in a safe & secure manner to avoid accidents and the stallholder agrees to indemnify Santa Barbara Night Market LLC against all claims arising out of negligence on the part of the stallholder and/or their helpers. Stallholders are responsible for all activities that take place on their stall throughout the event and any actions that could affect others as a result of their activity. If you choose to bring along children at the event, it is the stallholder’s responsibility to ensure their safety and wellbeing is met at all times during the event.


LIABILITY:

The stallholder agrees to indemnify Santa Barbara Night Market LLC against all claims for damages or injury to the property or person of any persons in respect of any claim by any such person arising out of any faulty or dangerous products sold by the stallholder or his agents or servants.


ILLEGAL ACTIVITY:

​Santa Barbara Night Market LLC shall not be held responsible for the non-compliance by a stallholder with any Law, By-law, Regulation, Act or Statute.
